José Carlos is a seasoned financial lawyer with over 15 years of experience
in financial and corporate advisory, spanning structured finance, workouts and insolvency (concurso mercantil), capital markets, and M&A. He has enhanced international experience after working as a New York based associate for Allen & Overy LLP and Paul Hastings LLP. Additionally, José Carlos held the distinguished role of Professor of Commercial Law at the Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas (CIDE) in Mexico.
